Hello everybody!
Although it’s still hot outside, summer is slowly starting to wind down. Are you looking forward to fall? I know I am! I love the beautiful autumn leaves and all the delicious seasonal food. Be sure to tell us about your fall plans when you come to BRIDGE for your next lesson. As for today, we’d like to talk about the growing popularity of Japanese manga and anime around the world, and share some exciting news!
Millions of people across the globe love Japanese manga and anime. Popular series such as One Piece, Naruto, and Dragon Ball have fans in countless countries. Dragon Ball was created by Akira Toriyama, who was from Nagoya! He became one of Japan’s most famous manga artists, and many people in our area are proud of his incredible legacy.
Now, this beloved series is inspiring a huge new theme park. Saudi Arabia and France are working together to build a Dragon Ball Z amusement park near Paris. The park is expected to cost about $7 billion, take several years to complete, and become one of the largest amusement parks in Europe.
The project is a collaboration between the two countries and is expected to benefit both of their economies. It will create around 22,000 jobs in France, attract millions of visitors, and include large green spaces designed to protect nature and support biodiversity. The leaders of both countries hope it will become a new global destination for Dragon Ball fans.
What do you think? Would you travel to France to visit a Dragon Ball theme park? We’d love to hear your opinion during your next lesson at BRIDGE. Have a wonderful rest of your summer!
